#HappeningNow Investing in #horticulture in Rwanda (HortInvest Project) has its final sharing event today, having contributed to the GoR National Horticultural Policy (NHP) and @RwandaAgri strategic plan for the Transformation of #agriculture.

The project has improved market-led horticultural production and supplies for domestic and regional markets, and improved nutritional security for rural households through long-lasting #horticultural training.

Under @hortinvest project, @SNVRwanda in collaboration with @ThreeStonesIntl have concluded a six month internship program. The program enrolled 50 young graduates with the aim to allow them to apply academic skills and knowledge in the workplace.

The Minister of State Hon. @Ngabitsinze encouraged private sectors and enterprises to engage #YOUTH in #agriculture. As it has deliberated as the easiest way to agricultural development." Minagri will provide a sound enabling environment for further youth engagement." He assured.
